Warren Nichols Art Exhibition - 'SKY LAND SEA'
29 March - 28 April 2018We invite you to attend Warren Nichols upcoming exhibition at Quadrant Gallery.
A long held interest in, and active participation within the landscape has been central to Warren's art practice.
Working within a minimalist genre, it is his interest in translucency and transition in colour, as dictated by changing light conditions, which influences his exploration of applying numerous transparent glazes over a prepared surface ----an approach not too dissimilar to the practice of the masters, Rembrandt and Rothko.
The works shown in SKY LAND SEA present an abstracted interpretation of sky, land and sea compositions as observed over Western Port at varying times of the day and season of the year.
This exhibition will run from March 29th until April 28th.
