Entries for the 2020 Fleurieu Biennale Art Prize are now open.

The Fleurieu Biennale Art Prize is a non-acquisitive two and three dimensional art prize open to Australian visual artists, 18 years and over. This is the 21st Fleurieu Biennale and is being exhibited across 3 venues in the picturesque wine growing district of McLaren Vale, 45 minutes south of Adelaide.

Artists are invited to respond to the theme Of the Earth by submitting previously un-shown 2D or 3D artworks produced after 1st January 2019.

Finalists will be shortlisted by the judging panel, made up of arts industry professionals Debbie Pryor (Gulidhouse), Maria Zagala (Art Gallery of South Australia) and Greg Healey (Groundplay).

All shortlisted finalists' artworks will be exhibited in McLaren Vale, South Australia from 13 June - 19 July, 2020. The winning artworks will be selected from the finalists exhibited.

In 2020, there will be 2 main prizes, each $20,000. One prize for 2D entries, and one for Sculpture (3D).

A People's Choice award of AU$3000 will be awarded at the conclusion of the exhibition to the artwork voted as people's choice.
