Melbourne producer Dream Kit aka DJ Declan Kelly returns with three dark and diverse electronic pop remixes from the vaults. Dreamixes EP is available as a free download / pay what you feel release on Bandcamp.

Dreamixes explores the intersection of futuristic bass music with a pop sensibility.

With a distinctive approach to sound design, Otouto's 'W Hillier' gets overhauled with a bass rich double-time workout, distorted drums and a cut and paste approach to the original vocal melodies. Geoffrey O Connor's synth pop gem 'Proud' emerges with a robotic chorus, snippets of the original synth and guitars and swinging minimal drums, all anchored by a huge wooly bass line. The EP closes with Near Myth'sangular single 'I, Lummox' getting a deep dub treatment with cut up guitars, claustrophobic synths and percussive found sounds.

These remixes are a taste of things to come from Dream Kit. With more vocal collaborations in the pipeline, the new EP will be due out early 2017.
