Following previous festival hits Space Tortoise and Winter is Coming, Michelle Brasier and Laura Frew come together to form a powerhouse comedy duo with their new show Double Denim.

Award winning Backwards Anorak alumni - singer and comedian Michelle Brasier, together with choreographer, dancer and actor Laura Frew - present an hour of absurd fun, high-energy silliness and a lot of denim.

Double Denim is a joyous group date infused with dance, sketch, singing, jump rope, and some jokes to fill in the gaps. Is there any Shania Twain? The answer is yes. Together, Brasier and Frew invite you into their world, where anything can happen and usually does. They want to get to know you and by the end of the show, you will know them "¦a little too well.

In 2016 Space Tortoise (written and performed by Michelle and directed by Laura), toured to Edinburgh Fringe as part of Gilded Balloon"s Ed Fringe program following a successful 2016 Comedy Festival. Both members of the Green Room Award winning comedy collective Backwards Anorak (Winter is Coming), which enjoyed sold out seasons at Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival and Melbourne Fringe.

Michelle recently toured Australia and New Zealand in California Dreaming and The Carole King Songbook Tour and performed sketches for BBC3"s Edinburgh Extras. Most recently Laura hosted and choreographed Immaculate a variety event Melbourne Fringe Club and has been a member of Dave Callan"s A Little Less Conversation series, appearing with him during his Edinburgh Fringe season, Assembly"s Best of the Fest and also on ABC"s Comedy Up Late.

"Brasier and Frew are vocally dominant, full of energy and zesty non-sequiturs...hilarious!" ★★★★ The Skinny UK
