‘DELVE’ is a new and powerful exhibition by Ian Provest.

A physical Journey, of Astronomy and Light; ‘DELVE’ a photo based exhibition by Ian Provest explores concepts of the ‘unknown’. Provest was inspired by a chance meeting with artist and author Anna Sofaer, while attending a device free retreat in New Mexico. Sofaer’s film ‘The Mystery Of Chaco Canyon’ narrated by Robert Redford also provided a compass.

A number of fine hand crafted black and white photographs express PROVEST’S unique eye exploring concepts of the unknown. The images provide space in which viewers are drawn to delve. The haunting images delve into the powerful and sophisticated influences of astronomical phenomena on both ancient and contemporary culture.
