October 31 is Cup Eve, an Australian institution. With that in mind, popular local Northside performers Wendy Ealey, Moira Tyers (Dixie Chooks) and folk festival favourite Bruce Watson will team up to present their highly polished and utterly unique show, Unsung Heroes of Australian History. With dynamic visuals, three-part harmonies and an ever-changing line-up of acoustic instruments, Unsung Heroes brings to life the stories of some lesser known characters who have shaped Australia's, and Darebin's, history. First developed six years ago, the show is constantly evolving as new characters and stories are added. The two-hour show includes an intermission complete with home-made Anzac biscuits and Turkish Delights! This unique and highly local performance for all ages.
