The visually spectacular and delightful family show, Ruby's Wish, is heading to Riverside Theatres from 25th to 26th May. Combining puppetry, comedy, animation, beatbox and clowning, this magical story transcends generations and proves there is no harm in believing.

Ruby's Wish tells the beguiling story of Ruby, a little girl who believes in wishes, but not fairytales. Having spent most of her childhood in a hospital bed, Ruby has grown up far too fast, but when a tongue-tied clown doctor visits she will find a way to use her greatest gift - her imagination.

As we watch the two misfits - ailing child and awkward clown - create a fantasy world of mop monsters, bed caves and imaginary paper friends, we are drawn into Ruby's bittersweet life, and come to see that imagination can make almost anything come true.

Presented by MAKEbeLIVE Productions and Cubby House Co, the production is directed by Jo Turner (Fool's Island, Cubbyhouse) and stars Holly Austin (STC's Hamlet), Adriano Cappelletta (The Good Doctor, This Boy's in Love) and Alice Osborne.

A theatrical trip for the whole family, Ruby's Wish plays on the edge of fantasy and reality and celebrates an overactive imagination which might just save your life.

"Congratulations for finding a funny and heartwarming way through difficult material - sick kids in a kids show. You really struck a perfect balance of not glossing over it but also not leading the audience down a rabbit hole of despair." From mother, Libbie Doherty.

Ruby's Wish comes to Riverside Theatres after touring to the Melbourne Arts Centre (9-13th May) and the Sydney Opera House (24-26th May).
