The dark, the dreary, the gruesome and the plain mischievous, will all be laid out on the autopsy slab before you during the Crime Fest. This weekend is not to be missed if you write fiction, thrillers, suspense, true crime or if you’re just looking to add a bit more intrigue in to your writing. Whatever your motive… come along and unravel the mystery of writing crime and have a bloody good time! With our Saturday Panel Sessions you’ll have access to our guests expertise as they discuss the ingredients of good crime writing and what it takes to tell a thrilling tale, including motives, bodies and characterisation, first responders and how they work, insider forensic knowledge, the science of eyewitnesses and the process for finding justice. And on Sunday, our series of masterclasses and workshops featuring special guests Gabrielle Lord, Katherine Howell, Angela Savage and Andrew Nette will bring your writing to the next level whilst learning from the best. In between, there’ll be plenty of time for networking and industry news, as well as readings, Q&A sessions – and of course the not-to-be missed Murder Mystery Dinner on the Saturday night! Tickets on sale now. Includes hard boiled entry to both days which will give you all access passes to the panel sessions, workshops and masterclasses, plus morning and afternoon tea and lunch both days.
