2016 is the 24th year of the Cossack Art Award and with around 8000 people visiting the exhibition, some 300 artists exhibiting work and over $100,000 of prize money on offer, it is Australia's most significant regional art prize.

The Cossack Art Awards provides an unmissable opportunity for established and emerging artists Australia wide to showcase their work in a nationally recognised public forum. Artworks are exhibited over a period of several weeks in the Post and Telegraph Building and the Bond Store in the historic township of Cossack, WA. The total prize pool is $109,000 across the 12 categories, making the Cossack Art Awards Australia's richest regional art prize. Well known industry Judges are invited to judge the artwork at the exhibition.
