Melissa McGlensey is tackling the dumpster fire of daily news from her home country in the only way she knows how - through comedy.

The American writer and comedian shows off her signature mix of politics, satire and comedy in The Briefing , her debut solo show. Part comedic press briefing, part character stand-up, and part improvised Q&A session, The Briefing is a sendup of American government centering around one of the Trump Administration's most lampoonable characters -- Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Join Mrs. Sanders on the Australian leg of her global propaganda tour for an evening of political theatre, partisan nonsense and dark humour. Don't forget to bring your questions!

"This is a brilliant example of political comedy. Much better than anything produced by SNL." - Squirrel Comedy

"McGlensey demonstrates great writing and performing talent and provides some light-hearted respite from a very dire political reality.." - Stage Whispers

"If you're interested in US politics and looking for a laugh, this should be in your calendar." - Beat

Don't miss out on all the fun! Catch The Briefing at The Butterfly Club, 5 Carson Place (off little collins) April 10-19 at 8:30pm.
