On Sunday 12th July, Colour Box Studio presents a super Sunday double workshop that will get your creative juices flowing! As featured by Peppermint Magazine Online, Bespoke Magazine Mini Mag, Craft Victoria Blog and Weekend Notes, the DIY Terrarium, Pot & Macramé Hanger: Double Workshop is run by Eavan Murphy of Ms. Murphy Flowers and designer and maker Kirri-Mae Sampson of Kirri-MaDe. These talented local artists will guide you through how to design, create and care for your very own terrarium (including plants and a little animal), decorate your own concrete vessel, and show you how to make your own macramé terrarium/ pot hanger for the items you’ve just made. Learn the art of macrame and specific knotting techniques to create a sturdy and well designed hanger that is sure to be a talking piece in your home.
Finally, on Saturday 25th July, Colour Box Studio will present the Aacute Jewellery Making Workshop facilitated by sister duo designers Julie and Kelly Tran, at their new Yarraville studio location. The 3 hour workshop will cover Aacute‘s geometric and marbling aesthetics, cutting methods and how to facet, jewellery assembling techniques, and glazing and oven baking instructions. All materials to make a necklace (or two!) and a pair of earrings are included, as well as a little gift bag, an instruction sheet to take home and keep creating, and tea, coffee & bikkies.
