Melbourne pianist, vocalist and songwriter Clio Renner is excited to release her latest solo endeavour Something Left to Leave Behind', from her recently released EP. Backed by captivating strings and harmonies, Clio reflects upon the end of a relationship with sorrow and poise, eventually finding acceptance.
Already an accomplished performer, Clio has been playing keys for the SBS Rockwiz' band since 2015, and touring with the likes of Angus and Julia Stone, Deborah Conway, and Tim Rogers.

2017 was a busy year for Clio, she spent the year touring with Killing Heidi, was the first female Musical Director for the Age Music Victoria Awards, and premiered a new collaborative work Like Running Water for the Melbourne Festival alongside artists: Ella Thompson and Becky Zui Shen.

Now ready to focus all her attention on flying solo, Clio's forthcoming EP Something Left to Leave Behind, Clio called upon a slew of Australian music royalty and friends including Davey Lane (You Am I), Julia Stone, Ross Irwin (The Cat Empire) and Hannah Cameron who all performed on various tracks.

Staying true to Clio's style, Something Left to Leave Behind' combines a pulsating orchestral arrangement with contemporary keys and direct, heartfelt lyrics. The strings ebb and flow, reaching epic heights yet still creating an understated mood.

Clio is gearing up to unveil the single at two intimate shows in Melbourne and Castlemaine with Jim Lawrie, War Plane and Hannah Cameron.
