Calling for Applications - Bayside Artist in Residence Program

Bayside City Council is calling for applications for eight studio positions at Billilla Mansion Studios in Brighton. These residences are day use studios for 12 months from June-July 2017. There is not cost for the use of these studios however there is a requirement for involvement in Community Art Projects. Applications close Friday 26 February 2016.

Visual artists, sculptors, writers, composers and multimedia artists are invited to apply for a twelve month studio residency at the historic Billilla Mansion in Brighton for the 2016"“2017 year.

The Artist in Residence Program is part of Bayside City Council's Arts and Culture program and offers a rare opportunity for post-tertiary artists to work on a substantial project or body of work.

Successful applicants will have access to the Billilla studios seven days a week. The studios are located in the grounds of the Billilla mansion, providing a wonderful opportunity for artists to work in a collegiate environment in a beautiful garden setting.
