NOCTURNAL SCRATCH NIGHTS are monthly scratch nights for performance makers to showcase their work in freedom. Structured like an open mic, every performer/piece has a max of 10 mins to share what they want - whether that be a fully formed piece, a work in progress or an extract of a larger work etc.

NOCTURNAL FEBRUARY will be celebrating LGBTQIA+ history month. We want to dedicate this month to contemporary work primarily centred around queerness; queer stories, queer artists, queer history. Time permitting we will also hold space for pieces exploring intersectional feminism, destruction of the patriarchy and anything outside the mainstream boundaries of art/society.

We invite performers from all backgrounds, disciplines, gender expressions, sexualities and those who identify as neurodiverse - we welcome all!

Come and show your support for some interdisciplinary delights!

Unfortunately our current venue is up three flights of stairs, so it is not accessible.

NOCTURNAL will also encourage fostering new networks and connections.

We may play some games or not, but we'll definitely try to make networking less intimidatingly stiff!

NOCTURNAL is the perfect way to support and empower local, emerging artists.

ENTRY FEE: £4 CASH on the door (if you can't afford entry, send us a message)

IF YOU WANT TO PERFORM: Email with details of what you want to bring, who you are etc. Time permitting there will also be slots available on the night for any spontaneous impulses! Payment is door share.
