The MtSV Annual Maritime Art Awards & Exhibition is a national competition hosted at the Mission to Seafarers Victoria in Docklands, Melbourne. The Exhibition will be open for viewing from 7th October to 21st October, 12pm to 6pm daily. #missiontoseafarers

The MtSV Annual Maritime Art Awards & Exhibition is a national competition hosted at the Mission to Seafarers Victoria in Docklands, Melbourne. The Exhibition will be open for viewing from 7th October to 21st October, 12pm to 6pm daily.

The Opening Night of the exhibition will be held on Thursday 6th October at 6.30pm.

Entries close at 5pm on 28th August 2016.

Artists are invited to submit work(s) for:
− The acquisitive 'ANL Maritime Art Award' valued at $15,000
− The acquisitive ASP 'Best in Traditional Maritime Art Award' valued at $5,000
− The non-acquisitive Bendigo Wealth 'Emerging Artist Award' valued at $5,000
− The non-acquisitive Switzer 'People's Choice Award' valued at $2,000
− The non-acquisitive Nevile & co 'Runners up' valued at $2,000
− Other commendations in each category may be announced but will not receive a prize

All 2016 submissions will be able to be viewed in our online gallery and are available for purchase! Artists have generously submitted their artwork for sale and 33% of all proceeds raised will go towards the charitable work of the Mission to Seafarers.
