The Mission to Seafarers Victoria (MtSV) is pleased to invite you to enter the 2018 ANL Maritime Art Awards & Exhibition. The Entry Form is available on our website, at: http://www.missiontoseafarers.com.au/anl-art-prize Entries open on 1st April and close on the 30th August 2018. The ANL Maritime Art Awards promote excellence in maritime and seafaring subjects in art and calls you to respond to "“ The Relationship Between Humanity and the Sea' "“ either thematically or literally.

From the submissions 80 2D works will be selected for exhibition at the 100 year-old Mission to Seafarers building at 717 Flinders Street, Docklands during the month of October, open daily 11 am "“ 6pm. A satellite exhibition will be held at the same time, exhibiting up to 30 works, as selected by our curator, at Manse Gallery in Toorak.

Winners will be announced at the exhibition launch on the evening of October 4th and the results will be posted on the Mission to Seafarers Victoria website. Specifics of the event launch will be supplied at a later date.

All entering artists may choose to have their entry featured for sale on the bluethumb Australia website. The online platform works to support established and emerging artists and we encourage you to explore the benefits when setting up an artist profile. bluethumb are accepting online entries (including entry fee) on our behalf to provide a seamless entry system.

This will give every applicant the opportunity to sell their artwork in our online store, with 33% commission of all sales going towards the charitable work of the Mission to Seafarers.
