Bayside Council invites submissions from local, national and international artists to take part in the 3rd annual Bayside Art Awards recognising outstanding achievements in Sculpture, Photography and Visual Arts. Each award is subject to its own Terms and Conditions so please read carefully before applying.
Highlights of the Awards include the 2019 Sculptures @ Bayside exhibition which features a Sculpture Acquisition Prize of up to $50,000. Finalists will be displayed during the Bayside Arts Festival along the Cook Park, Kyeemagh Foreshore, from Saturday 6 April to Sunday 28 April 2019.
Sydney Airport Sculpture Award (Judge's Choice) - $6,000
Sydney Airport Highly Commended Sculpture Award - $2,000
Cooks River Rescue Prize - $2,000
People's Choice Award - $1,500
First Prize - $3,000
Highly Commended - $1,000
Sydney Airport Aviation Award - $1,500
(photo must be of Sydney Airport or a plane in flight with recognisable landscape associated with Sydney Airport e.g. over Botany Bay)
Junior Prize (up to 12 years) - $500
Youth Prize (13 - 21 years) - $1,000
