The Box Hill Art Group Inc. is celebrating their 70th anniversary this year, part of the celebration will include their 70th Anniversary Exhibition being held at the Box Hill Lower Town Hall.
It features a wide range of original paintings and drawings in a diverse range of mediums. This event is an eagerly awaited event for art lovers, artists and non-artists alike especially following the past few years of isolation for so many of us.
Paintings on display and for sale are works by Box Hill Art Group and Whitehorse Arts Association artists. They range from landscapes, still life, flowers, abstracts, nudes and even some portraits, the diversity is fantastic.
During the exhibition you can talk to the artists about how and why they paint and maybe take home a piece of art, something unique to treasure for years to come.
