Books are often among a persons most prized possessions - they reveal an intimacy, a sharing of feelings and emotions that only a dear friend can do. A book cover provides a glimpse of what's inside, inviting the reader to enter into a new world.
The artists of the University of the Third Age (U3A) have explored this concept, bringing their own interpretations to many well-known and much loved books. The works in Book Covers showcase paintings by beginner and experienced artists of the Pine Rivers branch of the U3A.
