Ben Panucci reveals rich dream pop number Quite' "“ the second taste from forthcoming album Age Of Consequence' + launch shows

Published by: This Much Talent | 13-Jul-2018
Sydney artist Ben Panucci is lifting the veil on the second slice of his anticipated forthcoming album Age Of Consequence with lush and quirky new track Quite' out Friday 13 July.
Having released a critically acclaimed Jazz record under Ben Panucci Trio as well as an album with neo-soul outfit New Venusians, the sought after artist has now stepped out on his own steady feet as a soloist. Pricking ears and turning heads with his catchy debut single Come Over' last month, Ben is excited to launch his next instalment Quite' with a pair of single launch shows in Sydney and Melbourne this August.

Quite' is a sardonic and honest song that takes the listener on a journey into Panucci's inner workings. A break-up song that overcomes itself to realise that in the end, everything's pretty alright. The choral beginning cheekily gives the song a church like feel that soon transcends into lush synth and guitar hooks as the narrative of the song changes and the band opens up into a dreamy groove.

"Interesting fact (if you find these things interesting) - The lyrics of the first section of the song were taken from a poem I wrote when I was 17. There you go!" "“ Ben Panucci

Still firmly embedded in the Jazz World as one of the founding members of The Cope Street Parade, Ben Panucci's classically trained and multifaceted talents exceed expectations tenfold when experienced live. He has worked with and performed alongside some highly established Australian artists including Ngaiire, Tuka, Paul Mac, and PON CHO amongst others and built a strong rapport between himself and his audiences along the way. Launching the new single in his hometown of Sydney before heading down to Melbourne, do not miss the unmistakable sounds Ben Panucci live when he takes to the stage this August.
