You've seen it in sandwiches, sipped it in soups, maybe even tried its controversial appearance alongside pineapple on pizza. Now Ham is finally trying its hand at live performance, treading the boards at Melbourne's iconic The Butterfly Club this September.

Appearing alongside Elizabeth Brennan, one of the energetic minds behind award-winning shows The Nose and Between Two Lines, Ham will cure audiences of their environmental existentialism once and for all.

"I'm so lucky to be collaborating on this new show with a household name," said Brennan. "We're taking these really challenging issues, around climate guilt and activism in the arts, and shaving them down to the bone." Ham was unavailable for comment.

A Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Ham is the honey-glazed show that you can't miss this Fringe season. Fresh from the critically-acclaimed tour of THE BLOOMSHED's The Nose, Elizabeth Brennan makes her triumphant return to The Butterfly Club. Under Ham's tutelage, her poetic and musical brand of nonsense will finally absolve her questionable attempts to save the Earth.

A Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Ham opens on MONDAY 10 SEPTEMBER and is best consumed by SUNDAY 16 SEPTEMBER. Bookings recommended.
