Australian Revelations: Proof
Australian Revelations returns this April with one the 1991 classic Proof, accompanied by local short film NOAH. The Revelation Film Festival and Breaking Banter proudly present a celebration of film - past, present and future - through a program of monthly screenings; Australian Revelations. The event is held at the fabulous The Backlot Perth with drinks from DeVine Cellars and Otherside Brewing, cheese and international delights from Perth Gourmet Trader.

PROOF: Martin (Hugo Weaving), a visually impaired man, lives an emotionally isolated life. Holding a deep-seated mistrust for the people around him, he takes photographs of his surroundings as a safeguard against being deceived. An object of obsessive but unrequited desire for his housekeeper (Genevieve Picot), Martin embarks on a cautious friendship with a young restaurant worker (Russell Crowe). In doing so, he sets in motion a love triangle in which trust can be built and shattered.
