Culture Up Late: Anti-Valentine's Day will be an evening exploring affairs of the heart in their many exquisite forms, dedicated to those unimpressed by crass commercialism, glib sentiment or lazy clichés, all delivered with a healthy dose of dark humour.

A provocation for the curious, Culture Up Late turns the museum inside out. With VR experiences, short and sweet tours, hands-on workshops, live music and performances, enjoy a mid-week diversion with a bit of a difference. It's also the perfect opportunity to enjoy the latest exhibitions, during its quieter moments.

Anti Valentine's Day is set to be an evening exploring affairs of the heart in their many exquisite forms, dedicated to those unimpressed by crass commercialism, glib sentiment or lazy clichés, all delivered with a healthy dose of dark humour.

The event will include:
Live Music: The Acappelicans
The award-winning ensemble of songbirds bring their sparkling harmonies to songs of love gone right, and love gone wrong. Performances at 5:30pm, 7:00pm, 8:15pm

Heart of the Matter Dissection Workshop
AM Scientists Drs Anja Divljan and Greta Frankham pull at heartstrings in this pig's heart dissection workshop.

Anti-Valentine's Day Card Crafts
Reach out and hurt somebody... Ace that heartfelt missive to the object of your disaffection in this anti-valentine card-making workshop led by anarchic anti-cupid Craig Bunkwaa.
