Throwing Shade Theatre Company (Disco Pigs, No Exit, Vincent River) and EMU Productions brings a thrilling two-hander to the Sydney stage from Tuesday 25th April 2017. Directed by Tom Richards, Down an Alley Filled with Cats stars Gabriel Egan (My Bed is a Crocodile) and William Jordan (Metamorphosis, Blackbird).

"Down an Alley Filled with Cats is an Australian classic," says director Tom Richards. "It"s a stylish cat-and-mouse drama, a taut, sinister and suspenseful adventure. It"s a comedy thriller laced with snappy humour, and a slew of plot twists to keep audiences guessing - we quickly learn to expect the unexpected!"

"Despite being an award-winning and critically-acclaimed show from Australia to New York and beyond, Down an Alley Filled with Cats has not been produced in Australia in over two decades. What a coup then it is for Throwing Shade and King St Theatre to revive the show, unearthing a long forgotten masterwork of Australian theatre. It"s time to bring this show to a fresh new audience."

"A tight, bright play." - The New York Times | "Outdoes Agatha Christie in twists and turns that delight." - The Australian

"The sort of old fashioned suspense drama calculated to raise the fur on the back of your neck. . . . A creepy dramatic adventure." - New York Post
