We are pleased to inform that the call for the Artists-in-Residence Program in 2020 at AIR-HMC, Budapest has been opened.

AIR/HMC, Budapest Residency is an opportunity for a small community of artists to work independently for a short term in Budapest. Our goal is to provide professional opportunities for individual or collaborating artists and encourage experimentation and inquiry in all media.

Requested dates of stay
Session 1: Tuesday, May 12 - Thursday, May 28, 2020
Session 2: Tuesday, June 02 - Thursday, June18, 2020
Session 3: Tuesday, June 23 - Thursday, July 09, 2020
Session 4: Tuesday, July 14 - Thursday, July 30, 2020
Session 5: Tuesday, August 4 - Friday, August 21, 2020

applicants will be notified of their selection status via e-mail "¢ selected residents must confirm participation and pay deposit $300"¢

AIR/HMC, Budapest How to Apply

Applications require: Concise description (1 paragraph) of the project or type of work you plan to pursue during the requested time frame, application form, 4 images of recent work in digital format, CV or resume

AIR/HMC, Budapest Fees
$25 non-refundable application fee (paid through PayPal), $300 deposit, $850 per session Artists are responsible for their travel expenses and must supply their own materials and food; meals are not provided but all residents will have access to a kitchen, there are one big apartment and one private apartment in the same building. Private apartment will cost + $150 if it is available AIR/HMC, Budapest Subject Environmental Project & BookArt (Exhibitions are arranged)
