With the help of Brand Orange, Philip Salmon the president of Colour City Creatives has brought his idea of pairing local artists with local winemakers to fruition and delicious ripeness.

The palette and the wine mix selection includes: Philip Shaw from Philip Shaw Wines with Maggie Rosso; Rex D'Aquino from Highland Heritage with Les Quick; James Sweetapple from Cargo Road Wines with Joy Engelman; Peter Gibson from Word of Mouth Wines with Meredith Cahill; Borry Gartrell from Borodell with Jolanta Nejman; Julie Dolle from Orange Mountain Wines with Heather Campbell; Tony Moody from Moody's Wines with Jaq Davis; Justin Jarrett from See Saw Wines with Wanda Driscoll; Justin Byrne from Strawhouse Wines with Bev Duncan; Peter Helberg of Helberg Hill with Des Farr; Terry Dolle from Orange Mountain Wines with Susie Hillenbrand; Phillip Stivens from Heifer Station Wines with Robert Keen; Phil & Rochelle Keaney from Ross Hill Wines with Patricia Lovecek. Charlie Svenson from De Salis Wines will have two artists from different creative disciples render his image, painter Josephine Jagger-Manners and photographer Jude Keogh.

The Mixed Dozen Portrait Exhibition will be judged by two excellent curators, Maddie from The Corner Store Gallery and Sonny from Ludlow Creative Space.

The artists from the Barracks Precinct have a varied background, history, skill set and individual technique. The concepts are up to the artists but expect paintings, photography, manipulated photography, lino-block, collagraph technique to bring out the terroir in our winemakers. Colour City Creatives are a group of contemporary artists who love a challenge and more importantly love being part of the local community.
