Following an appearance of a National TV talent search contest (the video of their performance has over 9 million views on YouTube) The Royce Twins crowd funded and released their self-titled Debut EP.

Today, the first original track from that release has made it to the Semi-Finals of the International Songwriting Competition in the Singer-Songwriter/Folk Category. The Competition this year attracted over 18,500 entries.

"We're excited that Heartstrings has made it to the semi-finals on this international competition," said Gabriel, "It's so competitive."

The Royce Twins - EP has had sales and streams from over 50 countries since it was released which is quite amazing given this is an independent release.

"This year we hope to record some new original songs" said Michael. "This recognition goes to our supporters."
