2018 Easter Holidays at Ipswich Art Gallery

Published by: Ipswich Art Gallery | 25-Mar-2018
Weave a world of wonder this Easter at the Ipswich Art Gallery with a range of events on daily for kids of all ages!
Take in the heights on the spectacular Climbing Web created by artist Evelyn Roth. Filling up the entire Children's Gallery, and complete with energetic music and disco light, it's an exciting and safe environment where kids can climb, tumble, dive and spin while safely suspended off the ground.

Inspired to try your own hand at weaving? Hone your technique with a range of interesting materials on the Weaving Walls, and then take yourself over to Disco Weave. There you can decorate a recycled compact disc using groovy neons, metallic wools and quirky plastics. Take home your disco weave, or hang it up in the Gallery's shimmering wall of colour. For an extra $2 you can purchase a bag of funky beads from the Information Desk.

Still have energy to burn? Head outside to d'Arcy Doyle place and challenge yourself on the Rock Climbing Wall. Can you make it all the way to the top?

Don't miss out on the fun these School Holidays at the Ipswich Art Gallery. Open daily from 10am - 5pm.

Note Disco Weave and Rock Climbing Wall Open Monday "“ Friday 10am "“ 1pm (excluding Easter Monday)
