2013 My Video Award
Entries for the 2013 My Video Award are now open and the competition is shaping up to be tough. Entrants can be from any country, of any age and enter as many videos as they like! The content must pass Australian Film Review Board standards below R rating. Each submission must have been shot since 1st July, 2011 and must be primarily the work of the Entrant. There is no restriction on the number of entries by each Entrant. Subject and theme is open to the vivid imaginations of the filmmakers. Videos can include staged, directed, animated, live action or computer generated.
Videos can be as short as a few seconds but no longer than 5 minutes in the video format of H.264, widescreen – 16:9 – and resolution no lower than 720p. Commencing January 1st 2013, 3 films will be selected from each month's submissions over a period of 8 months to produce 24 finalists. Whichever month you enter your film, if you miss selection in that month your film will be considered for selection as a finalist in each subsequent month. The earlier you enter the more chances you have of selection.
