2013 Heffron Hall Performing Arts Residency Program

The aim of the residency program is to support artistic development and expression through a diversity of performing art practises. The residencies are open to professional artists and groups (emerging or established) encompassing a diverse range of practises and outcomes with an emphasis on projects that address professional development, the creation of new work and the investigation of innovative practice. All artists must come from NSW and priority will be given to local performing artists (defined as inner-city Sydney).
Successful applicants will be offered a stipend of $600 per week to assist artist/s expenses while undertaking their residency. All residency applications will be peer assessed by a panel of industry professionals. Please Note: Stipend will not be paid to projects that have received funding.
All residencies dates are fixed and give studio access on weekdays only between 10am–4pm at Heffron Hall; cnr Burton and Palmer Streets, Darlinghurst NSW.
