Since New Media Film Festival's launch in 2009, Honoring Stories worth Telling in all mediums has been their mandate. As the 1st Major Festival celebrating innovation, story, mediums & platforms, New Media Film Festival has led the way in the pursuit of creating and establishing new methodologies in the global monetization of content.

The festival is designed to both discover and cultivate highly creative work from emerging and seasoned content creators. The 10th New Media Film Festival is June 4-6 2019 at The Landmark Theater in Los Angeles CA. The International Art Exhibit is curated from submissions. Previous exhibitions include:

*Three Photographs, Three Moments, and Three Countries by Hannah Ponder. A collection of cultural photographs from her world travels.

*The Surfer's Girlfriend by Stu Home, a collection of photographs' that capture moments of peace, silence and even loneliness in places not accustomed to such solitude and stillness.

In the past few years alone, Prince Lorenzo De' Medici, the Medici Horse Procession (upper right hand artwork in this photo) was presented at the New Media Film Festival premiere in 2016 and sold. "The Dark and the Wounded" Grand Prize winner at the 2017 New Media Film Festival, James Picard was offered $1,000,000 for his Apparitions painting by a Russian collector represented by German art agent, Natalia Ivanovsky. Picard's incredible talent has brought him great success in the art and new media world. "I'm over the moon at all that has and is happening... and to think it all kicked off at New Media Film Festival last June!!!" said James Picard.

Artist Xaque Gruber, shown in this photo with "Narwhal" a mixed media project created with paper, fabric, bits of torn maps and all painted with acrylics and watercolor. Xaque Gruber has expanded his global reach as well. He had his directorial Debut, The Pistol at Cannes Film Festival 2018.

In addition to artwork, New Media Film Festival has curated photography from Jeff Fasono, Jane Yacovone and Jimmy Steinfeldt as well as sculptures from Brent Armstrong.
