Presented by Speakeasy Cinema and design100 as a fundraiser for Open House Melbourne. Gary Hustwit ('Helvetica', 'Objectified') takes on the City in 'Urbanized'. Urbanized is the concluding chapter in director Gary Hustwit's documentary trilogy about design. The first, 'Helvetica', concerned the alternatively revered and reviled typeface of its title. The second, 'Objectified', broadened its scope to examine the sometimes invisible ubiquity of design in the objects around us. Finally, 'Urbanized' expands the horizons of the series once more to examine the design of the places 75% of people on Earth will be living in by 2050: cities.

For me, capturing beautiful images is what continually inspires me. I love to work outdoors in nature and have the beauty of the landscape as my backdrop. My style is best described as "ethereal", "atmospheric" and somewhat "haunting". Each... photograph is meant to evoke an emotion and tell a story... My hope is that these photographs will help bring a completely new outlook of just how expressive a child can be.

Art is integral to everything we do at Avant Card, and as such we take great pleasure in providing exposure for emerging artists by producing beautiful works of art on our postcards and also distributing them to our national venue network. The punters love us for this and in turn we love giving artists a vehicle to showcase their talent. Our aim is to promote diversity – and successful images are chosen based on their ability to inspire, intrigue or inform the general public. You art must look like it belongs on a postcard, it has to be special and it has to stand out.
