Print Council of Australia curates PAPER CONTEMPORARY and Booth P07 at this year's SYDNEY CONTEMPORARY International Art Fair will showcase the solar plate etchings of Melbourne Printmakers Trudy Rice and Lisa Sewards. Both artists have diversified their printmaking techniques from the traditional acid etchings process to using non-toxic solar plates. Their practice illustrates traditional intaglio and although the works created by both artists are parallel in their creation, the results in this medium are distinctly diverse and multifaceted.
