14 FEBRUARY 2017 – Adored songstress Glykeria returns to Melbourne and to the Festival stage for the 30th Anniversary of the Lonsdale St Greek Festival (Antipodes). Glykeria will perform her greatest hits on the Delphi Bank Stage on Saturday 25 February, making this her third performance at Melbourne’s largest celebration of all things Greek. @greekcentre #greekcentre
The Lonsdale St Greek Festival has attracted many acclaimed artists over the years, including Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Haris Alexiou, Dimitra Galani, Alkistis Protopsaltis, Mihalis Hatzigiannis and Alkinoos Ioannides.
Also taking part in this year’s special 30th Anniversary celebrations are the Stratakis Brothers – from Crete – who are certain to woo audiences with their incredible vocal and lyre talents. They’ll be joined by an equally talented four-piece band on Sunday 26 February also on the Delphi Bank Stage.
The event takes over Lonsdale Street with free entertainment across three stages, Greek street food, pop-up bars, cooking demonstrations, competitions, children’s activities and much more.

Three performance stages will be positioned from Russell through to Swanston street, where local and international acts will captivate audiences. Take an OPA-CIZE class, or cheer on the Zorba 'til You Drop participants as they dance non-stop for a chance to win a return trip to Greece. The AA Holdings Stage will host the Magic Mic singing competition as well as a number of local and interstate dancing groups reflecting the many regions of Greece plus an outside broadcast from SBS Radio and DJs from Rythmos Digital radio.
