East versus West makes for a dramatic, richly textured and ultimately uplifting tale of enormous fascination.

Set in the early 1860's in the royal capital city of Bangkok, in the kingdom of Siam, The King and I is the story of Anna Leonowens, an English widow, who arrives in Bangkok with her son, Louis.

Engaged by The King of Siam to teach English and other Western ideas and philosophies to members of the royal family, including the King's many wives and many more children.

Western values clash with old fashioned customs and traditions as Anna and the King find their personal ideals challenged.

Featuring a cast of 50 talented performers, including 14 delightful youngsters as children of the King, and a live orchestra bringing this gorgeous Rogers and Hammerstein score to life, The King and I is full of rich visuals and a story that makes for a great night at the theatre.

This show is suitable for the whole family.
