Jindivick and Narkoojee Sculpture opens on Saturday May 13

BY Graham Duell | 19-Apr-2017
The biennial Jindivick and Narkoojee Sculpture Show opens in Jindivick at 2.30 on Saturday May 13. Around 40 sculptures will be on display in the local hall and adjacent garden areas. Judge Simon Lawrie, McClelland’s Balnaves Curator of Australian Sculpture will be presenting awards and there will be plentiful (and free!) delicious nibbles, wine, tea and coffee available.
Nestled in the green hills about an hour east of Melbourne, Jindivick makes a great trip into the country. With 2 local cafe's, wineries, great B&B's about and what is shaping up as a great sculpture show to wander around Jindivick makes a great weekend getaway. Now in its 8th iteration (no-one can quite remember?) the show achieves geed sales levels and has a couple of acquisitions each show which are installed in local parks. Treat yourself to a day or two in a beautiful part of Gippsland and come and see our show.
