Owner and operator of Crue-L Records since its inception in 92', Kenji-san has pioneered the underground sound of the far out east, releasing Western breakthroughs Cornelius and Buffalo Daughter as well as Kenji's own prolific excursions: Crue-L Grand Orchestra, Luger E-Go and Being Borings and A LOT more. His productions have been remixed by the likes of DJ Harvey, Theo Parrish, Prins Thomas, Idjut Boys, Recloose and Joe Claussell, while Cut Copy, Dimitri From Paris and Sebastian Tellier have commissioned him for reworks and his beyond eclectic DJ sets are the stuff of legend taking in "whatever Kenji deems danceable".
