Erik creates imagined worlds, delving on our relationship to architecture and the built environment as a whole. Erik's work takes cues from European comic artists, Japanese Ukiyo-e, to a variety of 20th century architectural styles, such as modernism and its variations, brutalism and metabolism. His goal would be to one day create large paintings set within one of these imagined worlds.
